Food and drink are well catered for in the wooden blockhouse in rustic-style. Groups are also very welcome.

Our wooden blockhouse, built in 1980, right at the entrance to the Nordwald Nature Park in the village of Scheiben, is a popular starting point for visitors to the Nature Park and also a meeting place for hikers and the local population. Whether you are looking for a snack or coffee with homemade pastries, our rustic blockhouse with its inviting terrace and outdoor seating in the midst of the Nature Park ambience invites you to linger and take a short break. Fruit juices, regional beers, grilled meats from the local butcher Bauer and hearty sandwiches - all at moderate prices - round off the small but fine culinary offer. On hot summer days, you can enjoy an ice cream. Smaller groups of visitors are of course welcome at any time.

Tip: right next to the information blockhouse is our publicly accessible adventure playground with a rope slide for our younger Nature Park visitors.
